Covers the mobile game Inkfall and the website ship-alone.pages.dev
Last updated: 25 October 2026 · Effective immediately
The short version. Inkfall does not ask you to create an account and does not collect your name, email address, or contacts. Your game progress is stored on your own device. We show ads through Google AdMob, and we sell in-app purchases through the app store you installed from. Those two partners process limited technical data as described below.

Reading this on the website? Section 2.6 is the part that concerns you — it is short, because the site has no accounts, no cookies of its own and no analytics. Everything else describes the game.

1. Who is responsible for your data

Ship Alone ("we", "us") is an independent software developer and is the data controller for the purposes of the EU/UK General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

Contact for any privacy question or request: mybookwhb12345@gmail.com

We are a small studio. We answer privacy requests personally, normally within 30 days and always within the deadlines the law sets.

2. What we collect, and what we do not

2.1 Data stored only on your device

Game progress, unlocked levels, card collections, settings, and local leaderboard records are stored in your device's local storage. This data never leaves your device unless you back it up using your own device or platform backup service. We cannot read it, and uninstalling the app deletes it.

2.2 Data we do not collect

2.3 Data processed by our advertising partner

Inkfall displays advertising supplied by Google AdMob. To serve and measure ads, Google and its partners may process:

Where required by law, we ask for your consent before any personalised advertising or non-essential storage takes place, using Google's User Messaging Platform consent flow. You can change or withdraw your choice at any time from Settings → Ad Privacy inside the game.

Google's handling of this data is governed by its own policies: How Google uses information from sites or apps that use our services.

2.4 Data processed when you make a purchase

In-app purchases are processed entirely by the store you installed the app from — Google Play Billing on Google Play, or Samsung In-App Purchase on Galaxy Store. We receive only a purchase confirmation and a transaction identifier so that we can deliver what you bought and honour restore-purchase requests. We never see or store your card number, billing address, or full name. Payment data is handled by the store under its own privacy policy.

2.5 Anonymous usage analytics

We record coarse, aggregated events — for example "level 7 started", "level 7 completed", "tutorial step 3 reached" — to find parts of the game that are too hard or that players abandon. These events are not linked to your identity and are not used to build a profile of you. They contain no free-text input and no device identifiers beyond a randomly generated installation ID.

2.6 What this website does

The website is a set of static pages. It has no accounts, no comment section, no newsletter and no contact form. It sets no cookies of its own, runs no analytics, and loads no third-party scripts, fonts or tracking pixels — you can check that in the page source, which is the entire reason it is built this way.

Two things still happen that you should know about:

Because the site stores nothing and identifies no one, there is no website data to request or delete — but the address in section 11 works for that too.

3. Why we are allowed to process this data (legal bases)

PurposeLegal basis (GDPR Art. 6)
Storing your game progress locallyNecessary to perform our contract with you (Art. 6(1)(b))
Delivering purchases you madeNecessary to perform our contract with you (Art. 6(1)(b))

4. Who receives your data

We share data only with the service providers required to run the game and this website:

RecipientPurpose
Google AdMob (Google Ireland Ltd / Google LLC)Advertising delivery and measurement
Google Play Billing / Samsung In-App PurchaseProcessing in-app purchases
Our web hosting providerServing these pages; standard request logs for delivery and abuse prevention
Affiliate networks — only after you click an affiliate linkAttributing the referral so the partner pays us; you pay the same price either way

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with data brokers.

5. International transfers

Some of the providers above are located outside the European Economic Area and the United Kingdom, principally in the United States. Where personal data is transferred, it is covered by appropriate safeguards such as the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses or an applicable adequacy decision. You may ask us for details of the safeguard used for a specific transfer.

6. How long we keep data

7. Children

Inkfall is not directed to children under 13 (or under 16 in some EU member states), and we do not knowingly collect personal data from them. Where the app is made available to a younger audience in a given market, we configure advertising requests as child-directed and disable personalised advertising for those users.

If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, write to mybookwhb12345@gmail.com and we will delete it.

8. Your rights

Under the GDPR and UK GDPR you have the right to:

To exercise any of these, email mybookwhb12345@gmail.com. You do not need to give a reason, and exercising your rights is free.

US state privacy rights (CCPA/CPRA and similar)

California residents and residents of other US states with comprehensive privacy laws have the right to know what personal information is collected, to request its deletion, to correct it, and to opt out of its sale or sharing. We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioural advertising except as controlled by your in-app consent choice. You can exercise these rights through the same email address; we will not discriminate against you for doing so.

9. Security

Data in transit between the app and our service providers is encrypted using HTTPS/TLS. We keep no server-side user database that could be breached, because we hold no accounts. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure, but we choose providers that maintain industry-standard certifications and we limit what we ask them to process to what the game actually needs.

10. Changes to this policy

If we change how the game handles data — for example by adding a new advertising partner or an optional account system — we will update this page and change the "last updated" date above. Material changes will be announced in the app's update notes.
